Responsibilities Lead and coach a development team to ensure high-quality software delivery and professional growth. Execute complex programming tasks including coding, testing, and debugging Java-based applications. Implement and integrate REST APIs with a focus on performance and reliability. Take a leading role in Agile development processes and project ceremonies. Manage database interactions and data integrity using SQL, Postgres, and DB2. Requirements 5+ years experience in backend development using Java , J2EE , and Spring Boot . 5+ years experience with the design and implementation of REST APIs . Experience in frontend development using React and TypeScript . Experience with database management systems including SQL , Postgres , and DB2 . Proven experience in leading a development team and coaching individual team members. Possession of a certification or equivalent expertise in Java/J2EE programming. You possess extensive knowledge of Agile development methodologies and can take a lead role within them. You are fluent in Dutch with a C2 level of proficiency. Nice to Haves Experience with CI/CD automation using Bamboo . Working knowledge of Atlassian Tools such as Jira and Confluence . Familiarity with Helm charts for application deployment. Experience developing applications that incorporate geographic data . Previous professional experience within the public sector .
