As a Truck Adaptation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing technical solutions for customers requiring specific modifications to their vehicles. Translate customer requirements into technically feasible concepts. Design and document non-standard solutions to ensure successful assembly within the production facility. Advise internal stakeholders on technical possibilities and solutions. Collaborate closely with various departments across the organization. Take ownership of technical decisions and assume end responsibility for your engineering concepts. Contribute to innovative and sustainable transport solutions. For our client, Volvo Trucks Ghent, the largest truck manufacturing plant within the Volvo Group, we are looking for a Truck Adaptation Engineer. From its Ghent site, nearly 3,000 employees work every day to produce high-quality trucks. Innovation, sustainability, quality and continuous improvement are at the heart of this international manufacturing environment. You will join a team of engineers responsible for developing customer-specific truck adaptations and delivering tailored technical solutions. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent through experience. A strong interest in automotive engineering and vehicle technology. Previous experience is not required; recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of trucks is considered a strong asset. Accurate, structured and capable of working independently. A strong team player with excellent collaboration skills. Good knowledge of MS Office. Able to read and interpret technical drawings. Excellent command of Dutch and English.
