About this role
Responsibilities: - Design & Architecture: Design, implement, and continuously enhance scalable Citrix DaaS and Digital Workplace platforms within a global enterprise environment, ensuring high performance, security, and availability. - Integration: Integrate Citrix solutions into existing hybrid IT environments and connect them with core infrastructure services such as Active Directory, Identity Management, Networking, and Security platforms. - Operations & Optimization: Ensure stable and efficient operation of the Citrix environment, including lifecycle management, patching, upgrades, and platform maintenance. - Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex incidents, performance bottlenecks, and availability issues across enterprise virtual desktop and application delivery platforms. - Automation: Develop and maintain automation solutions to streamline operational processes, deployments, and service provisioning using modern scripting and automation technologies. - Continuous Improvement: Drive the ongoing optimization and standardization of the platform with a focus on scalability, user experience, security, and operational efficiency. - Documentation: Create and maintain architecture documentation, operational procedures, technical standards, and support documentation. - Collaboration: Work closely with global Infrastructure, Network, Security, Workplace, and Service Management teams to ensure seamless platform integration and operation. - Monitoring: Monitor platform performance, capacity, availability, and security, proactively identifying risks and implementing preventative measures. - Consulting: Provide technical guidance and subject matter expertise to business stakeholders, IT teams, and end users regarding Citrix and Digital Workplace solutions. - Project Delivery: Support and lead infrastructure projects, migrations, upgrades, and technology implementations within the End User Computing environment. Qualifications: - University degree in computer science or a comparable IT education - Several years of professional experience in the position - Infrastructure Administrator, Terminal Services Administration or in a similar position - Professional experience in the following areas: - Microsoft Azure and AWS IaaS - Server infrastructure services - Windows Server - Citrix Virtual Apps, XenDesktop, Citrix - Storage Managment - Backup (Azure Backup, DPM) - Automation supports you in solving routine tasks as well as more complex scenarios efficiently - Good knowledge of hardware and storage - Very good knowledge of German and English Further ideal qualifications: - Experience in the following areas: Microsoft Hyper-V Server, VMWare vSphere 7.x, KVM FR : Dans le cadre de sa politique Diversité, Evotec étudie, à compétences égales, toutes les candidatures dont celles des personnes en situation de handicap.
