We're looking for a dedicated and organized Dishwasher to join our team in State College, United States. As a Dishwasher, you'll play a vital role in maintaining our kitchen's cleanliness and efficiency by ensuring a constant supply of clean, sanitized dishware and cookware. This is a fast-paced position where you'll work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to support smooth daily operations. Collect soiled dishes, pans, utensils, and cookware from the kitchen and wash them thoroughly using proper cleaning procedures and food safety standardsEnsure all washed items are properly dried and stored in their designated locations for easy access by kitchen staffMaintain a clean, organized, and safe dish pit area at all times, including proper storage of cleaning chemicalsClean and sanitize kitchen appliances and equipment, including ovens, prep tables, and other cooking surfacesSweep and mop floors throughout the kitchen and dish pit areas, paying special attention to spills and hazardsEmpty trash receptacles and rinse garbage cans regularly to maintain sanitation standardsSupport other team members by assisting with additional tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothlyEnsure the dining area and kitchen line are properly set up at opening, during service, and at closingMaintain compliance with all food safety regulations and procedures at all timesAssist throughout the closing process **Required Qualifications:**
Minimal to no prior dishwashing experience (comprehensive on-the-job training provided)Ability to stand or walk for extended shifts (8-10 hours) and lift at least 30 pounds regularlyStrong communication and problem-solving skillsExceptional time management and organizational abilitiesAbility to prioritize multiple tasks in a busy, fast-paced environmentWillingness to comply with all food safety procedures and regulationsReliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanlinessPositive attitude and genuine pride in your workAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team Late night availability and weekend availability is required.
