About this role
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team at our Bethalto, United States location (147 E Bethalto). In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to customers while maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism. You will be the face of our organization, ensuring every delivery is completed on time and with care.
Operate a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulationsPlan and execute optimal delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize delivery timesLoad, unload, and transport packages of varying sizes and weights to customer locationsObtain customer signatures and handle payment transactions as requiredMaintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery documentation and mileage logsPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working conditionCommunicate professionally with customers, addressing inquiries and resolving delivery issues promptlyReport any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents to management immediatelyMaintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all timesMeet daily and weekly delivery targets while maintaining quality service standards Valid driver's license with a clean driving recordProven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transportation roleStrong knowledge of vehicle operation, maintenance, and safety protocolsProficiency with GPS and navigation systemsExcellent time management and organizational skillsStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsAbility to lift, carry, and handle packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularlyAttention to detail with accurate record-keeping and documentation abilitiesReliable transportation and punctualityProfessional communication skills, both verbal and writtenProblem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing delivery schedulesFamiliarity with local Bethalto area roads and neighborhoods (preferred) BENEFITS
