About this role
We're looking for a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team at our Springfield location (3100 West Iles Ave.). In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages and goods to customers throughout the Springfield area. You will represent our organization with every interaction, ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policiesPlan and execute optimal delivery routes to meet daily delivery schedules and customer expectationsLoad, unload, and secure packages and goods in the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and protectionMaintain accurate delivery records, including signatures, timestamps, and delivery confirmationsProvide professional and courteous customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving delivery-related issuesPerform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues or damage promptlyMeet or exceed daily delivery targets while maintaining quality service standardsCommunicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, or customer concernsComply with all company policies, safety regulations, and local transportation requirementsMaintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times Valid driver's license with a clean driving recordProven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving roleStrong knowledge of vehicle operation, maintenance, and safety proceduresExcellent time management and organizational skillsProficiency in route planning and navigation (GPS and map reading)Strong customer service and interpersonal skillsAbility to lift, carry, and handle packages safely (up to 50 lbs regularly)Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentationReliable communication skills, both written and verbalPhysical capability to work in varying weather conditionsPreferred: Experience with delivery management systems or mobile applicationsPreferred: Knowledge of local Springfield area roads and neighborhoods BENEFITS
