Parks Auto Parts is a growing leader in aftermarket auto parts distribution and are looking for qualified people to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician you will oversee the facility’s maintenance functions, implementing preventative and predictive maintenance. You are responsible for preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems. Major Responsibilities: Responsible for regular care, preventive maintenance, and emergency maintenance Exhibit good mechanical skills to handle equipment to avoid causing injuries to self and others on ground. Communicate any conflicts, resource shortages, ongoing problems, or significant expenditures with management. Ensures the proper use of all tools in the workshop for cutting, bending, and welding of equipment. Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician. Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds. Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices Experience/Education/Skills Required: Physical demands include standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching while working in indoor or outdoor environments year-round. Ability to work safely in a hazardous environment with exposure to moving parts, noise, vibration, high/precarious places, fumes, chemicals, and electricity. Must be able to: Must be able to pass a criminal background and drug screen. Must provide a 3-year driving record - company vehicle is provided Hours: Monday- Friday 8am – 5pm Pay: Negotiable and based on experience.
