As a key strategic partner to senior Security leaders, the Amazon Security Finance team plays a vital role in building a robust security culture. You'll be a valuable member who uncovers critical trends, refines forecasting accuracy, and generates actionable insights to empower strategic decision-making. You'll also be a trusted advisor to senior leadership, translating complex financial data into a compelling business narrative that drives informed security investments. Key job responsibilities - Collaborate with the Amazon Foundational Security Services (AFSS) team on business strategy, fostering growth and development - Lead planning processes, providing financial expertise and driving impactful decisions - Own third party (3P) software spending reporting across Amazon Security. - Deliver regular weekly & monthly reporting that influences security investments and strategic direction - Develop and maintain scalable financial models that empower informed planning, accurate controllership, and clear visibility into key business drivers. - Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support leaders in tackling business challenges and understanding the financial ramifications of decisions. - Demonstrate the agility and resilience to excel in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, consistently delivering impactful results. About the team Amazon Security Finance is a relatively new finance team supporting the consolidated security functions across Amazon. We have a unique opportunity to see across all segments, build our own finance team and processes, and work with amazing business partners whose #1 priority is securing Amazon customers, partners, services, and employees.
