Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding. Prepare and install hardwood floors. Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings. Prepare floors for installations. Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants. Installation specialization: Hardwood strip flooring. Borders or feature strips. Hardwood intricate patterns flooring. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own transportation. Own vehicle. Vehicle supplied by employer.
