Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Work setting: Hospital medical laboratories. Tasks: Examine the results of the tests. Conduct routine laboratory tests and sample analyses. Clean and maintain medical laboratory and laboratory equipment. Conduct quality control assessment of testing techniques. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS). Security and safety: Immunization records. Criminal record check.
