About this role
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Work setting: Nursing home/home for the aged. Tasks: Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities. Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort. Perform other duties related to personal care. Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse. Serve meal trays and feed patients. Weigh, lift, turn and position patients. Make beds and maintain patients' rooms. Transport patients between care facilities. Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher. Answer call signals to determine patients' needs. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. Security and safety: Immunization records. Vulnerable sector check. Tuberculosis test.
