Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Hog and pig farming. Work setting: Rural area. Remote location. Relocation costs not covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Diagnose livestock health issues. Disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses. Handling animals. Monitoring animal health. Perform livestock feeding. Treat livestock health issues. Feed and tend animals. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain livestock performance records. Maintain quality control and production records. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Maintain work records and logs. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Perform general farm duties. Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is not available. Own transportation.
