Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Animal shelter. Tasks: Bathe and shampoo animals. Document animal behaviour. Monitor animal behaviour. Prepare food and feed animals. Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures. Keep records of animals treated. Assist with inoculation and treatment of animals. Supervise helpers. Clean animal ears. Maintain and order supplies. Provide flea bath treatments to animals. Clip animal nails. Type of pets groomed: All breeds of dogs. Cats.
