Tasks: Transport items throughout plant using powered equipment. Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually . Check and weigh materials and products. Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products. Perform other labouring and elemental activities. Clean machines and immediate work areas. Record shortages and reject damaged goods. Prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies. Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents. Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies. Pack goods to be shipped. Monitor quality and production levels. Mark defects. Keep stock clean and in order. Complete inspection and test reports. Check products for quality and other specifications. Work with minimal supervision.
