Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Dangerous. At heights. Outdoors. Tasks: Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation. Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements. Trim trees to achieve the desired pruning objective such as crown cleaning, thinning, raising, reduction, restoration, espalier pruning, vista pruning. Tree removal. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certification. Area of specialization: Plant knowledge and identification. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Attention to detail. Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Ability to distinguish between colours. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Flexibility.
