About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots. Work setting: Rural area. Staff accommodation available. Tasks: Conduct artificial insemination and spraying or shearing of livestock or disinfecting pens, barns or poultry houses. Diagnose livestock health issues. Direct farm feed inventory activities . Monitoring animal health. Treat livestock health issues. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Formulate feeding program. Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs. Perform general farm duties.
