Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Construction. Tasks: Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures. Assign projects to subordinates and staff related to work safety, environmental safety and accident prevention.. Direct and control daily operations . Direct staff. Evaluate daily operations . Plan and control budget and expenditures. Plan and organize daily operations. Provide information/training to employers, employees and general public. Train staff. Establish and implement policies and procedures. Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards. Manage contracts. Manage training and development strategies. Develop and implement health and safety plans. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Advise senior management. Respond to employee questions and complaints. Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures. Conduct performance reviews. Evaluate work environments, programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury. Area of work experience: Construction site. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
