Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables. Set up and adjust production machineries/tools. Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments. Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances. Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports. Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers). Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools. Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments. Measuring tools: Micrometers. Callipers. Gauges. Equipment and machinery experience: Automatic lathes. Drill presses. Engine lathes. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Computer-aided design (CAD). Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Own tools/equipment: Tools. Steel-toed safety boots. Safety glasses/goggles. Hard hat. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Flexibility. Initiative. Team player. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
