About this role
Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. Tasks: Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities. Assist with maintenance and repair of medical equipment. Perform other duties related to personal care. Supply and empty bed pans. Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse. Serve meal trays and feed patients. Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens between departments. Supervise patients' exercise routines. Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations and enemas. Maintain inventory of supplies. Transport patients between care facilities. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Employment terms options: Early morning. Evening. Morning. Night. Day. Weekend. Support for youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment. Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
