About this role
Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators and other electro-mechanical equipment. Weld or braze components. Wind, assemble and install various types of coils. Perform some machining to recondition or modify shafts, commutators or other parts. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Employment terms options: Early morning. Evening. Morning. Day. Support for youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment. Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
