About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Asset languages: Spanish; Castilian. Work site environment: Fruit and vegetable combination farming. Other vegetables and melon farming (except potato). Outdoors. Dusty. All weather conditions. Tasks: Apply fertilizers. Clean the crops. Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Cut agricultural crops. Hand harvesting vegetables. Pack fruits and vegetables. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Sort fruits and vegetables. Weeding. Clean work area. Fertilize and spray crops. Harvest crops. Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Transportation/travel information: Vehicle supplied by employer. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Repetitive tasks. Work under pressure. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods.
