Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Urban area. Various locations. Retail business. Exhibit designers plan and develop permanent and temporary or moveable exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces and other exhibitions. Order merchandise. Authorize return of merchandise. Sell merchandise. Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers. Supervision: 5-10 people.
