Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Evaluate safety programs. Examine plans, drawings and site layouts. Plan safety programs. Ensure electrical and plumbing installations meet government regulation. Inspect construction of sewer systems and pipelines. Inspect to ensure that safe working conditions are maintained. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Certification by a provincial or territorial association.
