Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Operate heavy equipment. Use International Organization for Standardization (ISO) pattern joystick controls. Use Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) controls pattern. Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks. Measure distance, volume, length and weight. Operate computer controlled equipment. Complete onboard and other logs. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Prepare accident reports. Secure special attachments to equipment. Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment. Perform minor repairs to equipment. Operate hydraulic pumping systems. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
