About the Role
Lowcountry Urgent Care is hiring a PRN Family Nurse Practitioner to provide as-needed coverage at our Pageland clinic. Pageland is a small town in Chesterfield County near the North Carolina line, about an hour southeast of Charlotte. This role is a good fit for a provider who wants to pick up shifts around an existing schedule.
At a Glance
• PRN, as-needed shifts at a single clinic
• Pay: up to $70/hour based on experience, time-and-a-half after 40 hours
• 12-hour shifts, no on-call, no overnights
• Average of 3-4 patients per hour

What You'll Do
Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and episodic conditions. Perform common urgent care procedures, including laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, wound care, and DOT physicals. Order and interpret in-house labs and imaging. Prescribe, educate patients, and chart in Experity EMR.
How You'll Practice
You are the provider on-site and make your own clinical decisions, backed by established protocols, a dedicated clinic team, and clinical leadership when you need them. Onboarding includes a structured clinical orientation. Schedules are published in advance through a self-scheduling app, so you choose the shifts that fit your calendar.
PRN Expectations
• Submit availability for at least 4 shifts per month
• Work at least one shift every 60 days to stay active
Qualifications
• FNP-C licensed in South Carolina, or eligible for licensure
• Current BLS and ACLS
• DOT Medical Examiner certification, or willingness to complete within 6 weeks of start (training provided)
• 1+ year of urgent care, emergency, or primary care experience preferred
