Pay Rate: $18.00-20.00 an hour (depending on experience and education)

Event Details

• Date: Wednesday, October 7th, 2026

• Time: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

• Location: 130 Tressel St. (Inside the Reinberger Chapel), Berea, OH 44017

Available Shifts & Openings

• Full-Time: 2nd shift or 3rd shift

• Part-Time: 2nd shift or 1st shift (Weekends)

Your Role & Impact

• Our Berea residential campus provides vital, out-of-home care for boys and girls facing complex trauma, mental health needs, and academic or emotional struggles. As a Youth Care Specialist, you will:

• Provide safe, trauma-informed care for high-risk youth.

• Partner with caregivers and placing agencies to transition youth back home safely.

• Help empower the 26,000 Ohioans we serve annually across our diverse programs.

Role Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED minimum

• 1+ years of experience working with high-risk/at-risk youth, corrections, or mental health populations.

• Ability to pass a free pre-employment screening (fingerprint background check, physical, TB test, and drug screen).

• Driver's license and car insurance

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in psychology, Social Work, Mental Health, Criminal Justice, or Youth Development.

• Strong understanding of adolescent development, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care.
