About this role
Moravian Manor Communities, located in the charming town of Lititz, PA, is a respected not-for-profit senior living community with a 50-year tradition of serving older adults. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Utility Aide to join our dedicated Culinary Services team.
This position is scheduled evenings from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., averaging 8 to 15 hours per week. Candidates must be available to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
The Utility Aide will be based at our Founders Campus in Lititz, PA, supporting our culinary team in the kitchen. We take pride in providing exceptional service to our residents and fostering a positive, team-oriented workplace.
What will I do in the role of a Utility Aide?
• Completes daily and weekly cleaning jobs as scheduled.
• Prepares and runs dishwashing machine in accordance with safety and sanitation regulations including recording required dish machine temperatures on daily log.
• Washes pots and pans by hand, cleans pot sink area, and puts pots and pans away.
• Transports clean and dry tableware to proper places in kitchen and dining rooms.
• Helps to clean hood fans and walls in the kitchen.
• Removes trash from kitchen and storage areas. Cleans and sanitizes dishwashing area, countertops, carts, working areas and dining rooms, sweeps and mops floor and refrigerators following accepted cleaning procedures and schedules.
What do I need in the role of a Utility Aide?
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Knowledge of sanitation and food safety procedures preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and follow instructions.
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
• Must have willingness to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, every other weekend and ever other holiday.
