About this role
• Assist in the operation of assembly machines including presses, drivers, and inspection stations
• Establish daily work task plan and communicate to team members at start of the shift
• Provide daily direction to team members during the shift to coordinate work flow
• Provide OJT opportunities to team members to develop flexibility
• Work in conjunction with supervisor to identify team member strengths and weaknesses and communicate development needs to training specialists
• Monitor line and employee performance; provide feedback to team members to ensure compliance to safety, quality, maintenance, and operational standards.
• Through example; demonstrate a commitment of excellence.
• Complete and submit daily reports to ensure management information system is accurate.
