MDS REGISTERED NURSE (MDS RN) Cooney Healthcare & Rehabilitation Salary: $105,000 - $110,000 annually Where Clinical Expertise Meets Meaningful Impact. Cooney Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced MDS Registered Nurse to join our clinical leadership team. The MDS Nurse is instrumental in ensuring accurate assessments, regulatory compliance, reimbursement optimization, and outstanding resident outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to utilize both your clinical knowledge and analytical skills in a way that directly supports quality patient care. Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and complete MDS assessments • Ensure timely and accurate documentation • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members • Monitor care plans and resident progress • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations • Support quality improvement initiatives Qualifications
• Current RN license • MDS experience in skilled nursing preferred • Knowledge of CMS regulations and reimbursement processes • Strong attention to detail • Ability to work collaboratively across departments What We Offer
