A Brief Overview: The Patient Access Representative II is responsible for efficiently and accurately processing patient registrations, scheduling appointments, and verifying insurance coverage. This role plays a critical part in optimizing the patient experience and supporting the hospital's commitment to high-quality healthcare services.

What you will do:

• Greet and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner during the registration process. • Collect and accurately enter patient demographic and insurance information into the hospital's electronic health records system. • Assist with more complex registration scenarios and problem-solving • Schedule patient appointments for various healthcare services, coordinating with clinical departments and patients to find convenient times. • Handle scheduling for specialized services and follow-up appointments. • Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility, confirming the accuracy of policy information. • Collaborate with insurance providers and billing teams to address insurance-related issues. • Assist with resolving complex insurance verification cases. • Provide patients with essential information about the registration and scheduling process, financial responsibilities, and available payment options. • Ensure clear and effective communication with patients to address their questions and concerns. • Handle patient concerns and escalations, resolving issues effectively. • Promote a positive patient experience by minimizing wait times, ensuring a welcoming environment, and providing exceptional customer service. • Help patients feel comfortable and informed during the registration and scheduling process. • Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance patient experience. • What you will need:

• Associates Degree Health Administration Preferred • Previous experience in patient access, healthcare administration, or a related field is required. Benefits:
