Maintains patient records on unit. Schedules tests and procedures, notes orders, and maintains supply level for unit.

• Maintains adequate supply levels, patient records, and an orderly nursing station. • Communicates all information related to patient/physician needs in a concise, accurate and timely manner; Always uses proper identification on patient records • Transcribes orders in an accurate and timely manner and places necessary information in appropriate location. Schedules tests/procedures in accordance with hospital and unit standards. • Effective and efficient use of equipment, supplies and people. Identifies inefficiencies and inaccuracies, responding appropriately • Acts as a data collector for department/facility PI activities. Data collection is complete and accurate. Works to ensure the department meets regulatory standards. • Performs related duties as required.

Required:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required • Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: AHA CPR required. Preferred:

• Education: Some college or vocational training preferred. • Experience: 1 to 2 years of job-related experience preferred. #LI-JM2
