The administrative assistant is an integral part of the orthopedic team working alongside surgeons and advanced practice providers to ensure high quality of care to patients presenting with a variety of illnesses and injuries affecting the musculoskeletal system. As an administrative assistant, you will have the opportunity to join a team of highly skilled medical experts with a mission to deliver preeminent medical care and service to our patients. Job Responsibilities:
• Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating the ability to multitask and support multiple providers • Initiates, monitors, and ensures timely completion of surgical and non-surgical insurance authorizations • Supports patient flow from point of entry to destination and ensures timely, accurate, and professional services • Assists with coordinating and maintaining outlook calendars • Communicate with patients to obtain and update relevant demographic records within the electronic medical record • Assist with coordinating and scheduling surgical and post-operative appointments • Effectively communicates with physicians, APPs, and care team about surgery scheduling needs Skills for Success

• High School Diploma/GED required. • Requires 0-3+ years relevant experience; previous administrative experience preferred. • Experience with matrix organization and complex work environment a plus. • Requires basic proficiency in MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
