ABOUT THE ROLE Step into a key leadership role within Wilson Security’s leading Perth corporate real estate portfolio. An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced security professional to step into the role of Security Manager , following the internal promotion of the current Manager. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Security Manager, 2IC Manager or senior security professional looking to take the next step in their career and establish themselves within one of Perth’s premier corporate security portfolios. Monday to Friday: Full-time position, 7:00am – 4:00pm, providing consistency and a strong work-life balance. Competitive Remuneration: $105,000 + Superannuation, with annual performance and salary reviews. Leadership & Autonomy: Take ownership of day-to-day operations, client relationships, team performance, compliance and continuous improvement for the contract. As the Security Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the safety, security, compliance and operational performance of the contract. You will lead and support security team, work closely with the client and their key stakeholders, assist with rostering and staffing requirements, manage incidents and investigations, and ensure consistent service delivery across all locations. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Build and maintain strong relationships with the client, contractors and key stakeholders. Ensure security directives, contractual requirements and regulatory obligations are consistently met. Manage administrative requirements while achieving contractual and site-specific KPIs. Plan, organise and direct daily operational activities, driving proactive improvements in team performance and service delivery. Assist with rostering, staffing requirements, training, performance and workforce planning. Maintain and continuously improve site documentation, including SOPs, Skills Matrixs and Assignment Instructions. Conduct regular audits, inspections and operational reviews across the portfolio. Manage incidents, investigations, risks and security vulnerabilities, ensuring appropriate escalation and follow-up. Provide leadership, direction and accountability to allocated security personnel. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for an experienced or aspiring security leader who is ready to take the next step in their career and manage a high-profile client. Previous management experience within the security industry, ideally managing small to medium teams. Experience in a 2IC or similar leadership position. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain security documentation, including SOPs and Assignment Instructions. Strong client and stakeholder management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage competing operational priorities and work autonomously. Valid WA Security Licence and First Aid/CPR certification. Australian Citizen or holder of unlimited Australian working rights. Intermediate Microsoft Office and general IT proficiency. Professional presentation and strong leadership presence. Certificate III in Security Operations / Leadership (CPP31318) is highly regarded.
