BRANCH SALES OFFICER Business Generation: Expands customer base by identifying potential clients and converting leads into new to bank customers. Deepens customer engagement by facilitating multi-product sales offering and presentation and providing unique solutions to enhance loyalty and retention. Promotes brand awareness and product penetration by identifying sales opportunities through constant customer visits and business development activities. Ensures complete endorsement of the solicited accounts to the branch for continuous development and relationship building by creating a clear line of communication between the client and branch officers and staff. Solicits referral by actively engaging both new and existing client base. Builds synergy and collaboration among team members and other partner units to improve our products and services. Conducts competitor scan and provides management periodic updates based on customer feedback and market trends. Risk Mitigation and Regulatory Compliance: Minimizes risk on account opening by strengthening verification processes on submitted documents to ensure legitimacy of accounts. Adheres to “Know Your Customer” and Anti-Money Laundering policies by closely coordinating with Branch Officers on latest banking regulations and company policies. Mitigates fraud by thoroughly conducting background checks on clients and report any suspicious transactions immediately. Customer Centricity: Expedites the resolution of customer queries and complaints by responding and escalation of concerns on a timely manner. Maintains strong customer relationships by providing after sales support using the Needs Identification Compass. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following or related fields: Business Administration Marketing Banking and Finance Economics Management Communication Licensure and/or Certification Required: Not mandatory, but the following certifications are an advantage: AMLA/KYC Training Certifications Sales and Customer Service Certifications Data Privacy and Compliance Training Experience: At least 2 to 3 years of experience in branch banking, sales, marketing, or customer relationship management Experience in account acquisition, business development, cross-selling of financial products, and customer service Exposure to bank regulatory compliance (KYC/AML) and familiarity with operational risk management in a financial institution Job Competencies: - Knowledge Skills Abilities: Business Generation Prospecting - Ability to identify and contact potential customers in order to generate new business Generates leads, qualifies prospects, and moves them through the sales pipeline Guides colleagues in applying prospecting techniques Sales Skills - Ability to persuade potential customers to purchase products or services Excels in consultative selling, and closing sales Achieves sales targets Trains and mentors others in developing sales skills Relationship Building - Ability to build connections with customers and lay the foundation for trust Builds strategic and trusting relationships with a wide range of customers Maximizes opportunities to get customer referrals for business generation Trains and mentors others on effectively managing customer relationships Market Insight - Ability to stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities Seeks out competitor intelligence Explains and monitors market trends
