About this role

QEHS OFFICER Role Purpose Ensure compliance with SICPA’s Quality, Environment, Health & Safety (QEHS) standards, policies, and regulatory requirements. Drive a culture of quality, safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement while supporting local operations and alignment with global standards. Key Responsibilities Quality & Operational Excellence Deploy and maintain the local QEHS Management System in coordination with global teams. Promote quality culture, performance improvement, and compliance with corporate standards. Manage quality issues, non-conformities, corrective and preventive actions. Coordinate supplier quality activities, inspections, and operational quality controls. Lead root cause investigations and problem-solving initiatives. Ensure quality data, KPIs, and reporting are accurate and timely. Environment, Health & Safety Implement corporate EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines. Conduct risk assessments, operational audits, and incident investigations. Monitor compliance with local EHS regulations and corporate requirements. Track and report EHS performance indicators and improvement plans. Continuous Improvement Drive quality improvement programs and operational excellence initiatives. Promote the use of quality tools and methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, SPC, and non-conformance management. Support process standardization, audits, training, and performance monitoring. Ensure quality controls, corrective actions, and preventive measures are effectively implemented. Calibration Management (when applicable) Support calibration processes and ensure compliance with global requirements. Maintain visibility and traceability of equipment under calibration. Profile Education Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline. Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality, EHS, Operational Excellence, or Process Improvement roles. 3+ years of project coordination or team leadership experience. Experience in industrial, manufacturing, regulated, or operational environments. Technical Skills Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and Occupational Health & Safety standards. Experience in audits, supplier quality management, customer complaints, and quality assurance. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, statistical process control, and continuous improvement methodologies. Understanding of local EHS regulations and compliance requirements. Languages Fluent English Additional Requirements Local EHS certifications are an advantage. Availability to travel within the country and occasionally internationally.
