Healthcare Enrollment Specialist (Open Enrollment) Location: San Diego, CA (Onsite)Assignment Length: 13+ Weeks with Potential for Extension or HireStart Date: September 11thOpenings: 13 Positions Position Overview We are seeking experienced Healthcare Enrollment Specialists to support a high-volume Open Enrollment season. The ideal candidate will have recent call center experience, strong healthcare knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.This role involves assisting members with health plan enrollment, benefits education, eligibility verification, and resolving enrollment-related concerns while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities
• Manage 60-80+ inbound calls daily regarding health plan enrollment and benefits. • Educate members on medical, dental, vision, and supplemental benefit options. • Assist with plan selection, enrollment changes, and qualifying life event requests. • Verify member eligibility, enrollment status, and coverage information. • Explain premiums, deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket expenses. • Research and resolve enrollment issues, escalating complex cases when necessary. • Accurately document all customer interactions in CRM and enrollment systems. • Maintain compliance with HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies. • Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction metrics. Required Qualifications
• Minimum 6 months of recent call center experience. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Previous healthcare, health plan, insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid experience strongly preferred. • Experience working in a metric-driven environment with established KPIs. • Strong written communication, computer, and multitasking skills. • Ability to navigate multiple systems while providing excellent customer service. • Experience researching customer inquiries and resolving complex issues. • Understanding of HIPAA compliance and healthcare privacy regulations. • Proven commitment to long-term employment and professional growth. Preferred Qualifications
• Open Enrollment experience. • Health plan, HMO, or healthcare customer service experience. • Medicare and Medicaid knowledge. • Service recovery and grievance resolution experience. • Epic experience. • TalkDesk experience. • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced call center environment. Training Requirements Phase 1 Training (6 Weeks)
• Onsite, Monday-Friday • 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM • Location: 8695 Spectrum Center Blvd, San Diego, CA Phase 2 Training (1-2 Weeks)
• Onsite at Tech Way location • Employees will begin handling live member calls Attendance during training is mandatory. Work Schedule Candidates must be flexible to work schedules based on business needs, including:

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
