About this role

Position Overview We are seeking experienced and customer-focused Customer Service Representatives to support a high-volume Health Plan Enrollment Contact Center during the annual enrollment season. In this role, you will assist members with health plan enrollment, benefits education, eligibility verification, and enrollment-related inquiries while delivering exceptional customer service. Successful candidates thrive in fast-paced environments, demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, and are committed to meeting performance and quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound calls regarding health plan enrollment, benefits, and member services. • Educate members on available medical, dental, vision, and supplemental benefit options. • Assist members with plan selection, enrollment changes, and qualifying life event requests. • Verify member eligibility, enrollment status, and coverage information. • Clearly explain premiums, deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket expenses. • Investigate and resolve enrollment-related issues, escalating complex cases when appropriate. • Accurately document all customer interactions in CRM and enrollment systems. • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations, healthcare guidelines, and company policies. • Meet established quality, productivity, attendance, and customer satisfaction metrics. • Provide professional and empathetic service during high-volume enrollment periods. Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of recent call center experience. • Experience working in a high-volume customer service environment. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Basic computer proficiency and accurate data entry skills. • Experience meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) and service-level expectations. • Ability to effectively research issues and resolve customer inquiries. • Knowledge of healthcare insurance terminology and member services. • Understanding of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality requirements. • Ability to manage approximately 60-80 inbound calls per day. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications

• Prior healthcare, health plan, insurance, or managed care call center experience. • Knowledge of Medicare, enrollment processes, grievance handling, and service recovery practices. • Experience using Epic or similar electronic health record (EHR) systems. • Experience utilizing Talkdesk or other contact center technology platforms. • Familiarity with health maintenance organizations (HMOs), customer satisfaction practices, and healthcare operations. Work Schedule

• Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. • Additional shifts may include 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM and occasional weekends. • Candidates must be flexible to work varying schedules based on business needs. • Work Location: San Diego, CA (onsite). Assignment Details

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
