Job Title: Rising Talent Fiber TechniciansJob DescriptionWe are seeking Level 1 Technicians and Lead Technicians to join our team for a six-month project at the site in Haskell, TX. This role involves the installation of data center cabling and equipment, including fiber optics, racks, and cable trays. Prepare equipment for installation in new build data centers.Responsibilities
• Install data center cabling and equipment such as fiber optics, racks, and cable trays. • Prepare equipment for installation in new build data centers. • Supervise teams of technicians if applying for Lead Level Technician role. • Complete a two-week Fiber Optics installation boot camp if applicable. • Apply skills from previous training in fiber optics and data center construction. Essential Skills
• Former military experience or veterans who can complete a Fiber Optics installation boot camp. • Experience in installing fiber optics equipment and supervising teams. • Completion of a training class in fiber optics and data center building phase. • Skills in communication systems installation. • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in varied weather conditions. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Knowledge of cat5, punchdown, telephony, cat5e, fusion, OSP, build, construction, splice, rack and stack, electrical, and telecommunication. • Ability to work on large teams and follow instructions. • Self-starter with initiative and ability to stay engaged throughout the day. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
