Job Title: Process EngineerJob DescriptionThe Process Engineer is responsible for improving, designing, and implementing manufacturing processes. This role involves setting up new production systems, optimizing current processes, creating documentation, training operators, and managing process-improvement projects. It requires hands-on work with equipment and collaboration across engineering, production, quality, facilities, EHS, and vendors. Responsibilities • Improve the safety, quality, and efficiency of manufacturing processes. • Design, install, and validate new production tools and processes. • Create and update work instructions and process documentation. • Train production staff on new or updated processes. • Perform root-cause analysis using tools like 8D and 5 Why. • Collect, measure, and interpret production data. • Manage projects with limited supervision and may oversee technicians or other engineers. • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, such as lockout/tagout. Essential Skills • Bachelors degree in Engineering with 2+ years of production engineering experience, or 7+ years of equivalent experience. • Mechanical and analytical hands-on experience in production or lab settings. • Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, Lean, and Six Sigma. • Strong communication skills and intermediate MS Office skills. • Eligibility to work in an ITAR-regulated environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with ceramic or industrial part processing is preferred. • Manufacturing engineering experience with wire bond equipment or automated equipment is preferred. • Experience in troubleshooting issues on the line and working with automated equipment. • Must have previous experience in a manufacturing facility. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $82000.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
