Start YOUR career with DHL today… We are currently hiring a Security Manager for the Atlanta Hub. This position will be responsible for developing and administering policies and programs to ensure all facilities have effective company security procedures and techniques. Oversees proper emergency evacuation procedures and training. Implements policies for access control to DHL facilities. Acts as a liaison with law enforcement officials. Ensures security of all company property, employees and visitors. Investigates theft, fire and sabotage by employees, customers or other personnel. Provides technical expertise and knowledge in compliance with the regulations of regulatory agencies such as the FAA, TSA, Homeland Security and U.S. Customs. Prepare and present training classes and informative instructions to U.S. employees. Key Responsibilities: • Perform all essential functions, with or without accommodation • Accommodations for those with disabilities will be provided on a case-by-case basis • May lead others in developing innovative solutions to important, highly complex strategic and operating problems; cross-department considerations are often present • May contribute to employees' professional development • Requires creative and innovative thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-department problems • Normal work hours, with adaptations to 24/7 calls and the ability to respond in short notice.
