Do you have experience leading, managing and developing the subject area and or providing support in school curriculum? We are looking for a qualified, experienced teacher to join Harris Academy Chafford Hundred as Achievement Director of Performing Arts.
You will need to be a Drama specialist to be considered for this role.

Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree, and, ideally, management trainingDemonstrate successful teaching of GCSE at good or better levelHave experience of initiation and effective management of changeShow evidence of raising achievement in present post and showing good value added for groupsHave knowledge of current curriculum developments in subject and their implicationsHave good knowledge and understanding of current educational thinkingShow good understanding of how children learn and how to raise standards of achievementHave good communication skills in speech and writingDisplay excellent organisational skillsAre able to build and sustain professional standards and relationships with studentsAre able to contribute towards creating a safe and protective environmentFor a full job description and person specification, please download the Job Pack.
