Ashill VC Primary School is looking to appoint a highly committed, enthusiastic and compassionate individual who has an energy and interest in not only working with whole classes of children but also working with small groups of children and/or in a 1:2:1 capacity, intervening to close gaps in children’s subject knowledge and developing their basis skills. Hours of work, 8.30am – 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
You will need to:
have strength, experience and relevant qualificationshave experience of working with children;have a good understanding of how to motivate children to engage them in their learning;be determined to identify what helps a child learn, overcoming barriers along the way;have excellent communication skills;be creative and have a willingness to offer new ideas;be a good listener, facilitator for learning, motivator and role model.We are able to offer you:
