Interview Date: 11th November 2026At Gravel Hill Primary School, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Teaching Assistantto join our inclusive and nurturing primary school. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and the SENCo to support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, helping them to access the curriculum and thrive socially and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) Support pupils in developing independence and confidence Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment Monitor and record pupil progress and contribute to review meetings The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Experience working with children with SEND in a school setting A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach Strong communication and interpersonal skills A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 TA qualification) Please refer to the Job Description and Person Specification for more information.
