Job summary We are seeking an experienced, motivated and innovative senior midwifery leader to join our Maternity Leadership Team as the Community and Continuity of Carer Maternity Matron. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving quality improvement, patient safety, clinical outcomes, governance and assurance across maternity services.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide visible professional leadership and expert guidance to support the delivery of safe, effective and personalised maternity care. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, clinical leaders and corporate colleagues, the Community and Continuity of Carer Matron will lead on the development, implementation and monitoring of community services, ensuring compliance with national standards, regulatory requirements and local objectives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing Community and Continuity of Carer services within Lincolnshire. They will work collaboratively with women, families and partner organisations to promote a culture of openness, learning and excellence in maternity care.

Qualifications Essential
Professional Midwifery Registration Educated to degree level oIn-depth understanding of service transformation and development, acquired through post graduate diploma or equivalent experience
Desirable
Masters Degree Post-graduate management qualification and/or equivalent level of knowledge gained through extensive experience Teaching and assessment qualification
