Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in a diverse and vibrant student community? Look no further! The University of Sheffield is currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Student Engagement & Development Coordinator.
As a Student Engagement and Development Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing the experiences of student residents. You will use your teamwork and marketing skills to engage diverse students, creating community and offering support throughout their time at the University.
Responsibilities include:
Lead on implementation of Residence Life communication strategies, ensuring an integrated and broad approach across the section. Collaborate with the Residence Life Manager and ACS Marketing to analyse data, create reports, and recommend improvements for marketing activities. Coordinate content for the Residence Life webpages, liaising with colleagues in Residence Life and across ACS, and implementing any in-cycle updates where needed. Coordinate the design and delivery of relevant Residence Life material, to include merchandise and other physical resources as required. Work collaboratively with ACS Marketing, to include attending regular Marketing team meetings. Keep up with the latest trends in higher education by researching, networking, and actively participating in working groups. Manage a team of student staff (Community Assistants) creating staffing rota’s, monitoring attendance, performance, and payroll data for effective programme delivery. Represent Residence Life and the wider ACS department at relevant meetings and events, for example Open Days, Housing Fair, Activities Fair, Arrivals Weekend etc You'll be encouraged to make ethical decisions and prioritise students, incorporating ACS Vision, Mission, and Values into your work.
