About this role
We are looking for a strong leader to provide leadership and direction of the Student Casework function at the University of Lancashire.
The role of Student Casework Operations Lead within the Academic Registry will lead the development, promotion and implementation of policies and procedures relating to Student Complaints, Student Disciplinaries, Fitness to Practice, Academic Misconduct and Appeals.
The postholder will provide leadership of the student casework function, providing expert advice and guidance to senior colleagues and Investigating Officers across the University, and promote a culture of learning from case findings and outcomes to enhance the student experience. As a member of the Academic Registry, reporting to the Director of Student Casework and Placement Learning, you will work closely with other professional services managers and academic leaders to deliver service excellence and deliver organisational change.
About you:
Experience of leadership and management in higher education and a commitment to continual improvement are essential, along with experience of drafting policies and procedures. Candidates should have a track record in managing successful teams and developing a positive and inclusive culture.
An undergraduate degree or equivalent experiential learning is required for this role.
