Our clients come to us when they need to turn complex transformation goals into reliable, secure production systems.<br><br><strong>Why This Role Matters</strong><br>As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will design and operate the platforms that let our clients build, ship, and run software safely at enterprise scale. You will work across CI/CD, cloud, container orchestration, and security — bridging the gap between development, operations, and security teams so that releases are fast, repeatable, and secure.<br><br>This is a hands-on, client-facing role based in Riyadh. You will work on complex, mission-critical environments, lead discovery and migration activities, and help raise the bar on how Oivan delivers engineering platforms. What You'll Do <ul><li>Build and run CI/CD: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, following DevOps and DevSecOps best practices.</li><li>Architect cloud and hybrid environments: Design, implement, and manage cloud and hybrid environments across GCP, Oracle Cloud, or Azure.</li><li>Automate with IaC: Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and Ansible).</li><li>Operate container platforms: Design and operate container platforms using Kubernetes, SUSE Rancher, and OpenStack.</li><li>Run resilient data services: Deploy, manage, and maintain PostgreSQL clusters and Redis clusters (Sentinel-based) for high availability and resilience.</li><li>Manage service discovery: Implement and operate Consul clusters for service discovery and configuration management.</li><li>Design for resilience: Design and test Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions, including data replication, failover strategies, and DR networking setup.</li><li>Lead discovery and migration: Lead discovery and assessment of existing SDLC, CI/CD, and infrastructure environments, and plan and execute migrations from existing GitLab instances or other DevOps platforms (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bitbucket) to new GitLab environments.</li><li>Stand up GitLab: Install, configure, and operate GitLab on-premise environments, and design GitLab reference architectures.</li><li>Document operations: Create and maintain Runbooks and Playbooks for product- and project-based operations.</li><li>Embed security: Implement security scanning and automated security testing within CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>Bridge teams: Connect Development, Operations, and Security teams to deliver secure, reliable platforms.</li><li>Keep platforms healthy: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize platform performance, availability, and reliability.</li><li>Share knowledge: Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer for customers and internal teams.</li><li>Engage clients: Work closely with customer stakeholders in on-site engagements in KSA.</li></ul> What You Have <strong>Core Experience</strong><ul><li>5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, CI/CD, or Platform Engineering.</li><li>Strong experience working in on-premise enterprise environments.</li><li>Ability to work independently in a customer-facing role.</li><li>Cloud</li><li>Experience with cloud administration on at least one of the following:</li><li>Google Cloud Platform (GCP)</li><li>Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)</li><li>Microsoft Azure</li><li>Infrastructure as Code</li></ul><strong>Strong hands-on experience with:</strong><ul><li>Terraform</li><li>Ansible</li><li>CI/CD & GitLab</li><li>Hands-on experience with GitLab migrations and high-availability GitLab implementations.</li><li>Container & Orchestration</li><li>Expertise in container orchestration and platforms:</li><li>Kubernetes</li><li>SUSE Rancher</li><li>OpenStack</li><li>Data & Platform Services</li><li>Experience managing PostgreSQL clusters.</li><li>Experience with Redis clusters, including Sentinel.</li><li>Hands-on experience with object storage solutions.</li><li>Experience with Consul clusters for service discovery and configuration.</li><li>Resilience</li><li>Strong Disaster Recovery (DR) skills, including:</li><li>Data replication strategies</li><li>DR networking setup and failover planning</li></ul><strong>Qualifications</strong><br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.</li></ul> What We Offer At Oivan, you'll join a diverse team of experts committed to delivering digital services that operate reliably for real users.
