Who we are Luxembourg National Data Service (LNDS) is a brand of PNED G.I.E. an organisation created by the Luxembourg Government, to implement Luxembourg’s strategies in research, innovation, and digitalisation. LNDS enables value creation from secondary use of data, for public and private partners and supports the sharing and re-use of public sector data, in a trustable manner. The LNDS service portfolio includes know-how, capabilities, tools, infrastructure, and data services. Through efficient & responsible use of data and improving the secondary use of data, LNDS will support the acceleration of economic, ecological, and societal transitions. Purpose of the job / project You will support the operations and infrastructure team in automating and maintaining the environments. The mission will involve contributions to infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring these platforms are reliable, reproducible, and secure. Assist in embedding automated validation into deployment workflows so that changes are traceable and safe to release. What you will do Infrastructure Automation & CI/CD Quality Enhancement <br> <br>1. VM Lifecycle Automation (Onboarding/Offboarding): Design and implement automation to manage Ansible host_vars in sync with VM lifecycle events. When a VM is destroyed, its corresponding host_vars should be automatically removed from AWX/the Ansible repository. When a new VM is provisioned, host_vars should be automatically created and committed to the repository. <br> <br>2. CI/CD Code Validation for Merge Requests: Enhance code validation and testing in GitLab CI/CD pipelines for the Deployments, IaC, and Provisioning Toolkit projects. Research and implement improved linting, static analysis, and automated tests that run on Merge Requests to ensure code quality before merge.
