Job summary

Reporting to the Practice Operations Manager, you will provide the day-to-day management and oversight of the Haddenham Patient Services team. You will be at the forefront of developing and managing your team's performance, ensuring that tasks are completed with precision and efficiency. Ensuring patient healthcare needs are met and we offer an outstanding healthcare experience to every patient. You will also actively promote innovation and embed new ways of working to enhance service quality and responsiveness to patient needs.

Main duties of the job

Provide ongoing support and training to the Patient Services team, ensuring processes are understood and followed and that all team members are confident and effective in their workTo facilitate patient access to the appropriate primary care service or healthcare professional Ensure effective communication between patients, practice staff (both clinical and nonclinical), as well as wider members of primary and secondary care, and associated healthcare agencies Monitor team efficiency, report any concerns Embed cross team working and support Be able to hold regular one-to-ones with your team, addressing simple issues and liaising with the Practice Operations Manager on more complex issues Ensure appointments are used in the most appropriate fashion.

This prestigious designation recognises our commitment to accelerating commercial clinical research delivery for health and economic benefit across our region.

Job description Job responsibilities

Based: Haddenham Surgery, with the ability to work across all three of our Mereside Practices (Staploe Medical Centre, Cathedral Medical Centre and Haddenham Surgery)

Basis: 32 hrs per week. Working days required (with need to be flexible to cover staff leave)

Monday8-16.30 (30 minute lunch)

Tuesday10-18.30 (30 minute lunch)

Wednesday off

Thursday8-16.30 (30 minute lunch)

Friday10-18.30 (30 minute lunch)

Salary:£13.70 per hour

Eligibility: You must be eligible to work in the UK and have a full UK Driving Licence
