Full Time Base: Hereford (Benet Building) and Malvern (Seaford Court Lodge) (working across Herefordshire and Worcestershire)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our well-established and highly regarded CAMHS Community Eating Disorder Service (CEDS) as a Band 5-6 Developmental Mental Health Practitioner.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and motivated practitioner who is passionate about working with children, young people and families affected by eating disorders. This developmental role offers a structured pathway to progress from Band 5 to Band 6, enabling you to develop specialist skills and competencies within a supportive and experienced multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job
Qualification in RMN, BSc/DipSW, BSc OT, RSCN
Experience in assessment and management of children and young people with mental health and eating disorders presentation, clinical risk and managing own case load.
The ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels, respecting and valuing others.
Working flexibly to provide the service delivery need across Worcestershire and Herefordshire (the service operates from 9 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays)
An enthusiastic, motivated and innovative thinker to become part of a Children and Young People facing community
The ability to work autonomously to manage your own case load whilst working within a multi-disciplinary team
The ability to problem solve and manage time effectively
Experience of working in a fast paced and varied environment

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
RMN/RN (Child)/RN (LD/SW or OT Relevant professional registration
Desirable
Relevant Post graduate study or be able to demonstrate further skills based training
Experience Essential
Experienced gained during pre- registration training either in a mental health or child placement setting Use of therapeutic interventions with children and young people i.e. 1:1, counselling, family therapy and group work Providing consultation Liaising across Tier I-IV CAMH Services

Knowledge Essential
